I love this photo - the girls look so sweet, and they were having lots of fun when I snapped this photo. But the other reason I like it so much, was that while Hannah was growing in my heart during our long wait to adopt, I spent some time baby-sitting Allison. I enjoyed getting to see her develop through stages that I knew I'd never be able to observe Hannah in. Those were a dear, precious moments, and they make the bond that these two little friends share all the more sweet.Below is a picture of Allison when I was keeping her - things have surely changed since then!

Okay, why do I have tears in my eyes after seeing the before, which wasn't so long ago, and now. Allison loves her Mrs. Ashley and Mr. Lee, Jaycie and Hannah for that matter. I can't describe the peace that I had knowing that my daughter was in wonderful hands. I am glad you had that time. I hope are girls are lifelong friends.
